Vegan Nachos

Toe,
It has been a while since I thought of Food for Thought, and yes, I do remember that postcard, and even recall that time we had lunch there. If I am not mistaken, it involved beer and reading the City Paper, and perhaps even Vegan Nachos, the premier appetizer of Food for Thought.

Remember the sadness we felt walking down Connecticut a few years ago and seeing that they had changed it into some fancy French bistro? Oh, man, I miss those stinky hippies in FfT.

I am at the end of my week off-work here, and I did not post as much as I wanted. I did, however, have a fucking lazy-ass week, which was really awesome. I've started back with more activity, though--not quite work-related, but I did replace the doorknob on my office. It fell off months ago, and I have put off fixing it. To enter my office, I had to open the door by turning a metal shaft sticking out where the knob had been. Not really difficult to do, but still, not as comfortable to the hand as a doorknob. Now, with a shiny new knob installed, I have entered my office to post on our blog. I feel productive again, and perhaps ready to do some paid work tomorrow.

It was good talking with you the other night. We have to do that more often, perhaps with alcohol in hand.

I wish you and El a great new year. Sorry the visiting family were such bitches.

And good luck with the cursing.
Love,
E-Word
