Sorry for the lack of updates, and the lack of reviewing your shorts. Somehow haven't been feeling things lately. Work has kept me busy, and I've picked up a new hobby- Judo. I take judo classes twice a week at a community center near work. It's pretty inexpensive($20 a month) because it's a non-profit, and it also has a ton of high level judokas. I have to admit that it is a little brutal starting this late- as a grown man, I'm not used to falling and being thrown around, or for that matter throwing anyone else, and my body definitely takes time to acclimate to the repeated abuse. I'm consistently covered in bruises lately, though that will diminish slightly once I get a gi.

I find myself pretty tired lately, because I have been exercising and working a lot, and in-between that and hanging out with El, I haven't spared the mental time to write or read or doing anything like that. It's kind of sad. It's hard for me to get through the first few pages of any book I want to read; I even have difficulty watching television, because my attention span has shortened so much.

Anyway, I hope it's just a passing thing. Thanks for posting that photo of le Grand Canyon. I can't believe we were there either, and I'm glad you had your camera, otherwise I might not have remembered Marble Canyon. Man, we saw some beautiful things. I suddenly remember driving through fields of desert sage after a rain storm. Was that real? Did that really happen?
