People stand in line to see the boy king
Toe,
It's been a while since I posted, but boy, it's been a long time since you have. What's up? Are you letting our blog go to waste?
Life has been good here in the midwest, although pretty busy. The wife is out of town right now visiting her sister. I couldn't take the time off (and its cheaper if just one of us goes), so here I am alone for the week. I went to Chicago yesterday and saw the King Tut exhibit. Pretty slick, but a little too crowded to truly slow down and enjoy. I actually really liked the Field Museum's "Plants of the World" exhibit a lot more. They have these great plastic models of plants that are quite lifelike. There is a lot of strange vegetation out there. The breadfruit tree is really odd, as are the giant waterlillies.
Anyway, I am doing all right. Went out late on Friday for beers with a friend here in town. We went to all three bars downtown (except for the one at the Mexican restaurant). I kind of enjoyed our mini-barcrawl, but I hate paying for it the next day. Alcohol is so good in moderation, but so bad in excess.
I hope you're well. I'll call you soon. I want to hear how everything went the other week with the thing.

Again, sorry for being out of contact. No good excuses, except that they've put me in a very public area, which totally sucks. No privacy at all.
Awesome about Chicago and drinking and paying for it. Paying for it is both awesome and sucky.
