Food for Thought

E-word,

Merry Christmas, and Happy birthday and New Year! You are the man with the unforgettable birthday date. We're at home in (Don't go back to) Rockville, and we finally ushered my relatives out the door. Thank God. Little kids are cute, but good lord am I thankful sometimes that I don't have any of these myself. They may be cute, but they are destructive, loud, and parents (even when they are your brothers) suck (excuse my language, I'm trying to cut down on my swearing) assholes. Your son/daughter is a shit. Don't try to convince me otherwise. And don't tell me not to be a mean uncle.

So anyway, we hustled like mad to get the house ready for company, so as I was putting books and other knickknacks away, I found an old 'Food for Thought' postcard, the one with the super hot girl with the black hair and tattoo? You may remember the postcard. I most likely got it when we met there for lunch twelve-or-so years ago.

I hope this next year we update this thing more frequently. We've been at it for 4 years, now, btw.

Love,

Toe

Happy Christmas, Snow, Etc.

Hey Toe,
Just wanted to wish you a happy Christmas, New Years, and everything. I hope you are well. I haven't posted in a long while. Are you in country? Or are you in Korea? C and I stayed home this holiday season--saving money, as well as enjoying a relaxing holiday for a change. I can't tell you how much I am enjoying not going anywhere.

It's been snowing like crazy here since last night. We have about 7 inches on top of the 5 we already had on the ground. It's really pretty lovely.

I am taking off work this week, so hope to post more often than usual.

Wishing you and El and excellent set of holidays, wherever you are spending them.
Love, E-Word
