Melt with you

Hey Toe,
Long time no post. I enjoyed your description of your snow day last week. I love those unstructured days. I haven't had one in a while--I have been working too hard and too much lately.

I'm going to a gardening class tomorrow. I hope it's not going to be me and 30 older midwestern women exchanging tips on gardening gloves.

Anyway, I just wanted to drop a line. I'm in the middle of listening to some work (checking sound on a project). It sounds about a little more exciting than it is, but it's OK.

Have a good weekend man. Here's a picture of our cat going up the stairs, away from the snow. This was last week, when we had just received 6 more inches. It's been melting...

The act we act

E-word,

The sleet and freezing rain is keeping me from work today. Code red, baby, emergency personnel only.

I'm watching Clerks 2 on dvd, enjoying this day off. School is closed, too, which just means lots of dvd commentary tracks for me. It's really great to not have to go to work or school, to take a mental health holiday and stay at home in my sweatpants. It's nice, I can do some laundry, house cleaning, maybe go out and get some food or read a book or anything. It's fucking heaven, I should take days like this once in a while anyway.

I'm going to spend sometime putting cds on my ipod, do a first run on my taxes, man it's funny, like some day I'm going to have a big house and the whole deal and on the very rare snow days all my kids are going to think of me is why is Dad watching profane movies and laughing out loud? What the heck is ass to mouth?
